How do I Add or Edit a Funnel Text (SMS)?

SMS Text Messages are another great way to reach out to engage with your leads. Inside each Funnel, you are able to add or edit Text Messages (one-to-one) or Text Message Blasts (one-to-many). Below are instructions to accomplish both. 

Important Note! There is character limit of 160 characters per Text Message.

How to Edit an SMS Text Message 

  1. Login to your Boldleads Account.
  2. Click Funnels > View Funnels.
  3. Open the Funnel that contains the Text Message you'd like to edit.  
  4. Click on the Eye Icon under the View/Edit Column.
  5. Locate the Text Message you'd like to edit.
  6. Click on the Pencil Icon under the Edit Column.
  7. The Edit Funnel SMS screen will appear, allowing you to edit the following items: 
    • Choose Status - Enable or disable text
    • Message Title - Internal name of text, only visible to you
    • When Should This Message Be Sent - Select the interval time based on when lead was captured
    • Who Should This Message Send To - Select a segment.  Only select 1, multiple segment selections will result in the email not sending out
    • SMS Content

After making your changes, please make certain to click on SAVE THIS MESSAGE at the bottom of the page.

How to Create a New SMS Text Message

  1. Login to your Boldleads Account.
  2. Click Funnels > View Funnels.
  3. Open the Funnel that contains the Text Message you'd like to edit.  
  4. Click on the green button that says New Text (SMS).

Follow the template:

  • Choose Status - Enable or disable text
  • Message Title - Internal name of text, only visible to you
  • When Should This Message Be Sent - Select the interval time based on when lead was captured
  • Who Should This Message Send To - Select a segment.  Only select 1, multiple segment selections will result in the email not sending out
  • SMS Content

After making your changes, please make certain to click on SAVE THIS MESSAGE at the bottom of the page.
