How Do I Add or Edit a Funnel Email?

Each Boldleads Funnel comes pre-populated with emails that you can either leave as-is or choose to edit. Editing your emails is a great way to customize your message. Below are instructions to edit or create an email.  

Important Note! If an email is deleted, it cannot be recovered. We recommend you choose to disable any unwanted Emails. Learn How to Disable an Email in this help article

How to Edit An Email

  1. Login to your Boldleads Account.
  2. Click Funnels > View Funnels.
  3. Open the Funnel that contains the email you'd like to edit, by clicking the Eye Icon under the View/Edit Column.  
  4. The funnel is now open.  Find the email and click on the Pencil Icon under the Edit Column.
  5. The Edit Funnel Email screen will appear, allowing you to edit the following items:
    • Choose Status - Enable or disable email
    • Message Title - Internal name of email, only visible to you
    • When Should This Message Be Sent - Select the interval time based on when lead was captured
    • Who Should This Message Send To - Select a segment.  Only select 1, multiple segment selection will result in the email not sending out
    • Subject Line 
    • Content of email

After making your changes, please make certain to click on SAVE THIS MESSAGE at the bottom of the page. See email fields in the screenshots below.

How to Create a New Email

  1. Login to your Boldleads Account.
  2. Click Funnels > View Funnels.
  3. Open the Funnel that contains the email message you'd like to edit.  
  4. Click on the button that says New Email.
  5. Follow the template:
    • Choose Status - Enable or disable email
    • Message Title - Internal name of email, only visible to you
    • When Should This Message Be Sent - Select the interval time based on when lead was captured
    • Who Should This Message Send To - Select a segment.  Only select 1, multiple segment selection will result in the email not sending out
    • Subject Line 
    • Content of Email

After making your changes, please make certain to click on SAVE THIS MESSAGE at the bottom of the page. See Email Fields in the screenshots below.
