Where Do I Generate a Buyer Link?

A Buyer Link is generated using the search functionality on your personal website or using your MLS Account.

The link is created by refining a home search to specific types of properties available in your target city. The results will appear on a search page and the URL associated with that search provides the public access to the search results.

So what’s a Buyer Link?

The BoldLeads Advertisements offer potential clients a list of homes available in your target area. A Buyer Link connects to a specific home search generated from your MLS database or website.

The link makes it possible for BoldLeads to send your Leads an inventory of homes for sale in your target city. Since the MLS restricts access to Realtors with area licenses, we need you to generate the link.

What Search Criteria do I use for the Buyer Link?

We recommend you use the status, location, property type and price range.

• The Status should be set to Active.
• The Location should match the area or city you purchased with BoldLeads.
• The Property type should be set to Detached, Single Family Home.
• The Price Range should be based on the average home price in your target area.

How do I create a Buyer Link?

Using your MLS account or personal website, search for the type and price of properties available in the area or city you purchased with BoldLeads. Your Buyer Link is the URL associated with the results of your home search.

Personal Website:

Your website's home search feature is typically obtained through an IDX feed from your local MLS. This feature lets visitors search for homes in your area. Follow these steps to generate a link from your home search feature:

STEP 1:  Refine your criteria to your target area or city.

STEP 2:  Active homes for sale if your website has this ability

STEP 3:  Copy the URL of the results page and paste the Buyer Link into your BoldLeads account.  Jump to the section below titled Adding the Buyer Link to Your Account.

 

IMPORTANT!  The general www.yourwebsite.com/property-search URL does not work. It must be the unique URL generated from your home search.

MLS Provider:

Generate a list of homes based on your search. This is the exact same exercise you would go through with any other client to whom you are sending a property list.

STEP 1:  Refine your criteria to your target area or city.

STEP 2:  Select Active, Single Family, Detached homes

STEP 3:  Enter yourself as the recipient and email yourself the results.

STEP 4:  The URL in the email is your new Buyer Link for that city or area.

STEP 5:  Copy the URL of the results page and paste it into your BoldLeads account.  Jump to the section below titled Adding the Buyer Link to Your Account.

 

Adding the Buyer Link to Your Account

Now that you have your Buyer link created, let’s add it to your account so it gets sent out from the Funnel Emails.

IMPORTANT!  We recommend that you shorten the new Buyer link using Bitly.com

After shortening the link, watch the video below or follow these steps:

STEP 1:  Hover over My Settings and click Account Settings in the drop-down.

STEP 2:  Click on the Buyer Links tab in the left-hand column.

STEP 3:  Paste your link into the second field titled: List of all homes for sale in your target city.

STEP 4:  Click the button labeled “Save & Apply to Your Funnels” at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations you’ve just added your Buyer Link!

These links can be changed as often as you like.  Just repeat the steps above in order to create a new Buyer Link at any time.
