Voice Broadcast

What is Voice Broadcast?

Voice Broadcast is an optional add-on feature in the BoldLeads dashboard. You can record a reusable voicemail message and choose when it should send; via the Funnel and/or Marketing Blast.

The recording(s) can be reuse or upload voicemail recordings in different automated messages.

How will this appear to the lead?

Leads will receive a notification that they have received a new voicemail message from your number. The lead’s phone will not ring, and if you leave a compelling message, the lead are likely to give you a call back.

Pros

  • Send recorded voicemails to leads in the Funnels and Marketing tab.

  • ‘Voicemail Sent’ note will be noted in the lead’s Profile History.

  • Leads think they’ve missed a direct call from you and are likely to call back.

  • Any phone number can be used as the caller ID for the voicemail message.

  • This feature may be cancel at anytime; there is no monthly contract.

Cons

  • Voicemail message will only send if the lead’s phone service provider allows this type of messaging.

  • Unused voicemail recordings will not “roll over” to the new, upcoming billing date.

Sign-up / Funnel set-up
(all leads assigned to funnel)

Subscription Plans:

  • Log into the client’s dashboard and click on ‘My Settings >Account Settings’ in the top right-hand corner.

  • Click on the ‘Voice Broadcast’ tab at the very bottom left-hand side of the page.

  • Click on the orange ‘Get Started!’ button - This will take you to select a subscription plan option.

  • Click the grey Select button under the subscription plan you’d like.

  • Click the small box underneath the subscription plans until this highlights blue. Then click the orange Install Voice Broadcast

Once this has been completed, you will be brought to a integration confirmation page that says ‘Congrats! You’re done!’.

A Voicemail can be recorded in 3 different places:

  1. Directly from the Voice Broadcast feature; click MY SETTINGS >MY ACCOUNT >Voice Broadcast >Record New Voicemail Message

  2. Inside the funnel - Click the “New Voicemail” button at the upper right.

  3. One time Marketing Blast - Click “Marketing” in navigation bar > Click the “New Voicemail” button at the upper right

Creating a Voicemail in a Funnel or Set-up from MY Settings tab

There are three configuration of settings that need to be selected for a Funnel voicemail message. (Basic, Caller ID, and Voicemail Settings)

Basic Settings:

  • In the section titled Funnel, click on Funnel and in the drop-down menu, select the Default Funnel that is assigned to the landing page/leads. (You can confirm the Default Funnel beforehand by: Clicking Funnels>View Funnels and locate the Default Funnel by the assigned landing page under ‘Landing Page’ column)

  • In the section titled Choose Status, confirm this is set to ‘Enabled’

  • Enter a title in the Title section.

Caller ID Settings:

  • In the section titled Use your phone as the caller ID, enter the phone number you’d like to use at the Caller ID.

Voicemail Settings:

  • Click the red record button to begin recording the message.

  • Once finished recording, click on the black square button to stop the recording (not the pause button). Note: If you hit the pause button instead, it will not save the recording.

  • To download the recording to your computer, click on the grey Download button.

  • Click Save this recording and continue configuring.

  • Next, adjust the section titled When should this message be sent? This step will tell the system how long it will wait before sending between Funnel emails. (Ranges from immediately up to two years)

  • Under the For which leads should this message be created for?, select Send to All Segments

  • Select Yes or No under the section title Only Send Voicemails During Business Hours? (8AM - 6PM)

  • Select acknowledgement of the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule

  • Finally, click Save this Message.

It is also possible to upload a voicemail message that is already recorded on your computer by clicking on the orange Upload an MP3 button.

Marketing Blast set-up
(one-time message)

There are two configuration of settings that need to be selected for a Funnel voicemail message. (Basic and Voicemail Settings)

  • Log into the dashboard and click on ‘Marketing’ in the top right-hand corner of the toolbar.

  • Click on the orange ‘New Voicemail’ button at the right-hand side of the page.

Basic Settings:

  • In the section Message title (only visible to you), enter a title of your choice.

  • Under the For which leads should this message be created for?, select the appropriate group of leads to receive the voicemail.

  • Include Partial Leads? Select Yes or No

  • Schedule your voicemail blast, select the date and time you’d like to voicemail message to send to the group of leads.

Note: This uses the timezone selected in your Settings section.

Voicemail Settings:

  • In the section titled Enter a caller ID, enter the phone number you’d like to use at the Caller ID.

  • Click the red record button to begin recording the message.

  • Once finished recording, click on the black square button to stop the recording (not the pause button). Note: If you hit the pause button instead, it will not save the recording.

  • Then click Save this recording.

  • If the you would like to download the recording to your computer, click on the grey Download button.

It is also possible to upload a voicemail message that is already recorded on your computer by clicking on the orange Upload an MP3 button.

  • Click the orange Schedule Voicemail button.

The page will load and a pop-up confirmation stating “Great! Your blast is scheduled to send to…” will appear.

  • Finally, click the orange Save & Finish button.

FAQS

Q: Is this a monthly cost?
Yes, the voicemail broadcasts feature will draft on the same day as your current billing.

Q: Will the unused voicemails roll over to the next billing cycle?
No, any unused voicemail messages will not be rolled over to the next billing cycle.

Q: How will I know if the voicemail has sent to a lead?
We will document in each lead’s profile if the voicemail message has been delivered to that lead. Simply do the following:

  1. Navigate to the Leads View.

  2. Click on the Lead's name.
    3. A new screen will appear, displaying the Profile View.
    4. The Profile Timeline is located in the right-hand column.

If the automated voicemail is sent out and does not successfully reach the prospect's voicemail, this is typically due to carrier issues, roaming, carrier phone plan does not support the feature, etc.
